Refunds and Returns Policy

Fair, transparent policies for tutoring sessions and digital resources.

🧾 Overview

This Refunds and Returns Policy explains how Learning Between the Lines ("LBTL," "we," "our," or "us") handles cancellations, refunds, and digital product access. Our goal is to provide fair, transparent service while maintaining reasonable boundaries to ensure the sustainability of our small business.

By purchasing a tutoring session or downloadable resource, you agree to this policy as well as our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

🎓 Tutoring Services

  • Cancellations: Cancellations made with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
  • Late Cancellations: Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling except in cases of verified emergencies.
  • No-Shows: If a student does not attend a scheduled session without prior notice, the session is considered completed and non-refundable.
  • Technical Issues: If a session is interrupted due to instructor-side technical issues, a make-up session or credit will be offered.
  • Refund Requests: Refunds for tutoring services are handled on a case-by-case basis. Requests must be submitted by email within 7 calendar days of the scheduled session.

Important

Prepaid session packages may be eligible for partial refunds if canceled before any sessions occur. Once sessions have begun, refunds are limited to unused sessions at the discretion of LBTL.

💾 Digital Education Resources

  • Instant Delivery: All digital education products are delivered electronically immediately after purchase via direct download or email link.
  • All Sales Final: Due to the nature of digital content, all sales are final once access or download has been provided.
  • Product Access Issues: If you experience a technical problem with a download link or file, please contact us within 7 days for assistance or a replacement file.
  • Duplicate Purchases: If an accidental duplicate purchase occurs, please notify us within 7 days, and a refund or credit may be issued.

Note on Licensing

All Learning Between the Lines digital materials are for individual or classroom use by the purchaser only. Redistribution, resale, or sharing is prohibited under our Terms and Conditions.

  • We will review all refund requests within 5–7 business days and provide a response via email.

⚖️ Exceptions and Discretion

LBTL reserves the right to issue or deny refunds at our discretion. Refunds are typically not granted for dissatisfaction due to preference, lack of compatibility, or misunderstanding of product descriptions. We are committed to resolving genuine issues promptly and fairly.
